Chapel Hill, NC – Richard S. Woods, Chief Operating Officer of Hamilton Point Investment Advisors, LLC in Chapel Hill, NC has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. “The CFA Program has been a valuable supplement to my financial work experience and other business training,” explained Woods. Woods is a Charlotte native and a graduate of Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and its Trinity School of Arts and Sciences.
Before co-founding Hamilton Point with Andrew Burns, Woods served as a Senior Manager of Finance & Deal Analysis for CNN Worldwide. Woods has also worked for a private investment fund and as an investment banker for Soles Brower Smith & Co. in Greensboro, NC providing mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance advisory services to corporations located in the Southeast.
