Hamilton Point conducts original, in-house research into economic trends and the financial statements of public companies. It invests in individually purchased bonds, stocks and funds for investors with a minimum targeted investment portfolio of $1 million who want to personally know and have regular interaction with their money manager. Hamilton Point’s diversified strategy employs equity investment indicators such as strong management, balance sheet /debt capacity and a favorable comparison of public valuation with Hamilton Point’s proprietary analysis of a “going private” value.
“Our firm’s trademark is quality combined with diversification,” explains CEO Burns. “Our portfolio management experience and our combined backgrounds in investment banking prove invaluable when determining which companies our clients should invest in. And, as an independent investment boutique, we are able to screen for only the highest quality holdings on behalf of clients, without any conflicts of interest. Our strategy is particularly attractive to CEO’s and owners of private businesses who are sensitive to how important discipline is when it comes to valuing equities.”
